Personal History: Jonathan and Isabelle Taylor grew up together, best friends almost from birth. As they reached puberty, friendship turned to so much more. Jonathan knew Isabelle was the one. He proposed in their last year of college and had just barely graduated when they were married with a baby on the way. Taryn came along in May of 1985 and they adored her completely, even if they were a little unprepared to have a child so soon. Emily was next, born in December of 1986 and then a few years later Isabelle was giving birth to twins - Travis and Grayson - in September of 1989. Four was a good round number, but Isabelle found herself pregnant again and in 1992 they’d added another girl to the family. Two years later they were welcoming Chrysta as the youngest of the Taylor family - and hopefully the last. 6 children is definitely enough and with their youngest being in her senior year of high school, Jonathan and Isabelle are certainly not looking to have any more babies.

Chrysta loves both of her parents, but she’s always been closer to her mom. Isabelle has always doted on her children, her daughters, especially. Jonathan wasn’t around as much. He worked a lot and no one could blame him for that - he had a big family to support - but he didn’t connect with his kids the way Isabelle did. He never had the time and when he was home from work, he was too exhausted to do much. It kind of sucked not to have much of his attention growing up, but money was tight as it was, so his working less really wasn’t an option. That was something Chrysta understood.. most of the time, anyway.

Chrysta was just a baby when she met [name]. They were inseparable from that moment, really, and as they grew older, their friendship only grew stronger. In the third grade she was showing him he COULD climb a tree if he wasn’t such a chicken. That didn’t end well unless you think a broken leg is a good thing. [Name] cheered her up, though, telling jokes and decorating her cast for her. He never even once said he told herself. A lot of people assumed they would get together one day, but Chrysta had never been interested in him that way. To be honest, she’s never been interested in any guy that way.

When Chrysta was 13, she got her first kiss. It was from an older girl - a 16 year-old. She had known she wasn’t really attracted to the boys in school with her by then, but that experience just reinforced what she was already beginning to think about her sexuality. She hasn’t ever been with a guy, but she definitely identifies as a lesbian by now. Her first sexual experience with a girl at the age of 15 only served to confirm that for her. She hasn’t told her family and most of her peers can only suspect, though her closest friends do know.

When Chrysta was 16, she got caught “decorating” the wall of a local business with graffiti. Part of her punishment required her to pay to have it cleaned - something her family definitely couldn’t afford. Fortunately, the owner of the business owned several places around town and was nice enough to help her get a job at once of those businesses. Her debt has been paid off, but she’s been working the job ever since. She doesn’t exactly get a big allowance and having money is a nice thing. It gives her the cash for extra “art” supplies.

About halfway through her senior year now, Chrysta doesn’t really have any ideas about what she’s going to do with her future. She wants to go to art school, but it’s not like there are any jobs out there that pay you to paint walls, so she has absolutely no idea what she wants to do beyond that.

Personality: Chrysta is an individual. She’s strong and she’s stubborn. She doesn’t give up once she decides she wants something. She does what she wants and she doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her. Anyone but her family, that is. Chrysta is closest to her brothers, especially to Gray, but she loves all of her siblings and her parents and she really cares what they think. She wants them to love her, she wants them to be proud of her. That’s the reason she hasn’t come clean with them about her sexuality - she’s afraid they’ll be disappointed in her or stop loving her if they know.

Chrysta is an incredibly talented artist. She has a tendency to mostly use her talent to graffiti various places around town, though. This has gotten her into trouble in the past, but she likes the thrill. She likes the excitement she gets from the chance she might get caught, even if she doesn’t exactly love being punished when that happens. She’s a definite thrill seeker, though. She loves the thrill that comes with being in danger, whether it’s from getting caught doing something wrong or doing something like bungee jumping or sky diving. She loves that adrenaline rush she gets from it.

Some might look at her as a bad girl because of the crowd she runs with, but it really just comes with the territory of her tagging. In actuality, she’s strongly against drugs and such, kind of insanely so, and she isn’t nearly as bad as the reputation of those she hangs out with might suggest.

Physical Description: Chrysta stands at 5’8, a little taller than most girls her age, and has long, dark hair that hangs in natural waves well past her shoulders and warm brown eyes. When working, she keeps her hair pulled up into a messy ponytail. The rest of the time, though, she leaves it hanging loose. She has a naturally slender but curvy frame, and she dresses surprisingly feminine for someone that makes a habit of sneaking off to the shadier parts of town to spray paint the sides of buildings. To her, clothing is just another form of expression. She enjoys creating outfits, and that shows in the way that she dresses,
